The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope. This feature is not depicted on any map. It is an oval, stony and grass-covered mound (dims 10m N-S; 4.8m E-W; H 0.5m) 13m W of a small N-S stream. It may be spoil from drainage.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
