The National Monuments Service's description

In Area A Enclosure 5 was a circular area (diam. c. 20m) outside Enclosure 2 at SE during Phase 1, and it was defined by three slight curvilinear sections of a ditch (L 10m; Wth 0.6m; D 0.35m: L 9m; Wth 0.9m; D 0.3m: L 9m; Wth 1.2m; D 0.25m). It abutted the SE edge of Enclosure 2 and a terminal of the smaller enclosure alters direction to avoid cutting a terminal of the larger, suggesting that primacy belongs to Enclosure 2. No internal features associated with this enclosure are recognised and no artefacts of note are recorded from the ditches. (O’Hara 2009, 16; 2009a)
