The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle N-facing slope with the SE-NW River Gowra c. 15m to the W, and first identified by Carmel Diviney. An oval stony mound (dims 13m N-S; 5.6m E-W; H 0.4-0.45m) has two visible but loose limestone slabs (dims 0.7m x 0.5m; 0.8m x 0.45m) at its N end and one (dims 0.85m x 0.45m) at the S end. The immediate area when ploughed exposes an extensive area (dims c. 56m N-S; c. 20m E-W) of broken and burnt stones. The burial ground (ME038-051----) is c. 70m to the N.
