The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in a shallow NE-SW valley with the headwaters of a small NE-SW stream in the vicinity, including a silted N-S drain (Wth of top 8m; D 0.2-0.5m) just to the E. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 20m N-S; 19m E-W) defined by a silted moat (Wth of top 6.5-6.7m; Wth of base 3-4.5m; D 0.1-0.2m). It is most clearly visible on Google Earth (05/10/2009; 12/07/2013; 20/03/2018), and it is listed as a crannog (Newman 1997, 340).
