The National Monuments Service's description
In 1977 human remains were discovered during the erection of a wooden fence. The burials appear to have been laid at regular intervals and in an E-W direction. There was no local tradition of a burial ground in the area (NMI, Cahill & Sikora 2011, vol 2, 501).
