The National Monuments Service's description

Located in a level landscape on the N bank of a canalised W-E stream. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 24.5m NNW-SSE; 23.5m ENE-WSW) defined by an earthen bank (at WNW: Wth of base 10m; Wth of top 4.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.5m) SW-NW and an outer fosse (at ESE: Wth of top 5.6m; int. D 0.6m; ext. D 0.4m; at WNW: Wth of base 7.2m; Wth of top 2m; ext. D 0.2m) that is truncated by the stream SSE-SW. The original entrance is not identified. Outside the fosse at WNW is a possible house site (int. dims c. 3m NE-SW; c. 2m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.3m; H 0.2m) but no entrance is visible.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
