The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a spur of a low ridge in an undulating, low-lying landscape. It is not depicted on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 18m NW-SE; 16.6m NE-SW) that slopes down slightly to the SE. It is defined by a grass-covered stone spread (at WNW: Wth 1.3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.6m) with no visible facing stones, and there is no identifiable original entrance.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
