The National Monuments Service's description
Long mound, c. 70m long by 35m wide, with quarried depression on N side; probably natural moraine ridge (O'Kelly 1978, 58).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
