The National Monuments Service's description

Knowth cemetery, Tomb 20: Situated c. 20m S of the kerb of the great mound, and located between Tombs 3 and 4. Discovered in 1994, the remains comprised several pit-like features and chips of greywacke. At least three sockets, probably for kerbstones at N, and 16 socket-like depressions with fragments of one upright stone were revealed indicating the location of an additional passage and chamber. The tomb consisted of a N-S passage (L c. 9.8m) entered at N. Two sockets E of the S end of the passage suggest that it had a left-hand recess at least and may have been cruciform. The tomb had been very badly damaged and the covering mound had been completely removed. The sockets are now marked with concrete posts. (Eogan and Cleary 2017, 251)
