The National Monuments Service's description
Knowth cemetery, Tomb 11: Situated c. 15m NW of the great mound, Tomb 1C. An arc of 13 contiguous kerbstones NW-E indicates the remains of a kerbed mound (diam. c. 11.5m), with isolated kerbstones at S and W and displaced stones E-S. It is probably the site of a passage tomb, although there was only a little mound material in some brown clay, and no orthostats or sockets of a passage or chamber were present. Eighteen flints were found but only one showed any signs of re-touching. A small N-S trench (L 4.6m; Wth c. 0.4m; max. D 0.37m) outside the tomb at S contained five scrapers and 9 sherds of Western Neolithic pottery (Eogan 1968, 324-31, Site 5). The mound is completely reconstructed with replacement kerbstones. (Eogan1984, 63-6, Site 11; 1986, 89)
