The National Monuments Service's description
In a field of flat, improved pasture. This feature is indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map but is not shown on later map editions. It is depicted on the 1838 map as two close-set parallel solid lines, flanked by trees, which describe an elongated shallow flattened arc (L c. 100m) curving WNW−ENE. The arc is closed on its S side by a straight E−W field boundary. The straight E-W field wall is extant, but there is no visible trace of the elongated arc at ground level. The nature of this monument is uncertain –it may have been a field boundary or a laneway or the N arc of a large enclosure.
