The National Monuments Service's description
Adjacent to the SW boundary of the townland, in gently undulating pasture interspersed with areas of wettish ground; good but not extensive views.
Shown on the 1838 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. 25-30m). It is named ‘Lisaniska’ on an 1811 estate map (NLI Ms. No. 2713) drawn up for Sir Robert Lynch-Blosse.
This enclosure was levelled during land reclamation in the 1970’s. The outline of a circular area (diam. c. 31m) can still be discerned. It is defined by a low undulation representing a levelled bank, outside which is a slight depression (Wth 2.5m) indicating an infilled fosse. A field fence on a NW–SE axis clips the NE edge of the enclosure. There is a rath (MA102-006----) 260m to SE.
