The National Monuments Service's description
In rough upland pasture, located on a terrace on the N facing slope of a rocky ridge, overlooking an expanse of boggy ground which stretches N from the base of the ridge. Ground falls away gently to E towards a NNW-flowing stream.
A rough semicircular arc (c. 5m E–W) of low, close-set moss-covered stones may represent the N half of a circular booley hut or small enclosure. The remains are exiguous, and the interpretation is tentative. There is a possible enclosure 10m to N, and a booley hut 50m to S. These are associated with a field system (MA096-034----) and a cluster of booley huts (MA096-034001- to MA096-034010-).
