The National Monuments Service's description

In rough upland pasture, located on a terrace on the N facing slope of a rocky ridge, overlooking an expanse of boggy ground which stretches N from the base of the ridge. Ground falls away gently to E towards a NNW-flowing stream.
A semicircular arc of collapsed wall defines a penannular space, open to S. The enclosing wall (Wth 0.6m; H 0.3m) is evident as an irregular setting of low, partly moss-covered medium-sized and large stones, which merges at N with a N–S field wall, part of a field system (MA096-034----) associated with cluster of booley huts (MA096-034001- to MA096-034010-).
This arc of wall is poorly preserved and difficult to interpret; it may represent the N half of an originally oval enclosure (5m E–W; at least 6m N–S) or even a booley hut.
