The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located immediately to SE of a cashel (MA093-008001-).
A ruined circular structure (diam. 7m) defined by a sod-covered stone bank/wall (Wth 2.7m, int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.45m). Due to a natural fall of ground the external height of the wall increases to 1m at E-SE. The interior appears slightly sunken relative to exterior ground level, but is partly infilled with loose stone, probably field clearance stones, and obscured by hazel and blackthorn scrub. This may be the remnants of a hut site.
