The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located adjacent to an old water course/field drain in rough, wet ground.
Compact, sod-covered mound (12m NE–SW; 15.9m NW–SE; H 0.8m), roughly oval in plan, composed of heat-shattered stone in charcoal-rich soil. It is bisected centrally on a NE–SW axis by a modern field drain (Wth 1.3m), now partly infilled. A shallow surface depression or trench (Wth 0.8m) on an E–W axis traverses the top of the mound on its S half. A smaller mound (MA092-100001-) is located 4.5m to S.
