The National Monuments Service's description
In improved pasture, in an area of undulating stony pasture broken by limestone outcropping.
A possible enclosure, with a possibly ancient field wall (MA092-098002-) to N, is recorded in an aerial photograph (OS 2 4343 –4; Roll 216, pr. 18; SMR file). In the photograph, the possible enclosure is evident as a broadly oval area (max. dim. 15-20m N−S) defined by a ruined stone wall or possibly rock outcropping. At SE–S it is bounded by a later field wall, which appears to respect the curve of the enclosure. Reclamation works have taken place in this field, and there is now no trace of this possible enclosure at ground level.
