The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on top of a hill, known locally as ‘Mickey’s Hill’, with the steepest fall of ground to NE. Curragh Lough is 180m to NW.
A circular embanked enclosure (diam. c. 20m) is shown on 1838 OS 6-inch map; it is not shown on later map editions. The enclosure, most likely a rath, has been levelled. The outline of a roughly circular area (diam. 20-24m) can still be traced at NE–SE where a levelled scarp merges with the natural hill slope and at SSE–SW where the shallow curve of a scarp is incorporated into a field fence. At the W a discrete sod-covered mound (L 2m; Wth 1.7m; H 0.8-1m) may be a remnant of the original enclosing bank; according to local tradition, this feature is said to mark the location of a burial (MA092-052001-).
