The National Monuments Service's description
Located a few meters to SE of a holy well (MA080-014001). This penitential station consists of drystone pillar-like structure (diam. 0.8m; H 1.1m) built of rough field stones. It is roughly circular in cross-section. Another penitential station (MA080-014003) of similar form is located immediately to N, between this one and the holy well.
