The National Monuments Service's description

In average pasture, broken by rock outcropping. A flat-topped, roughly rectangular stone (0.75m x 0.6m) with a shallow, circular basin-like hollow (diam. 0.35m) in the centre of the upper surface. The stone is embedded in the ground and barely protrudes above the surface.
There is a possible enclosure (MA073-046001-) in the same field. Another bullaun stone (MA073-045003-), a possible cashel (MA073-045001-)and a souterrain (MA073-045002-) are located c. 50m to NE.
