The National Monuments Service's description

Associated with a possible cashel (MA073-045001-). This bullaun stone is embedded in the ground at the SE edge of a scarp which curving in a shallow arc (L 30m E–W). The upper surface (c. 0.9m N-S; c. 0.56m E-W) of the stone, which barely protruding above ground level, has a circular hollow (diam. 0.35m; D 0.11m), with a bowl-shaped profile. Another bullaun stone (MA073-046002-) is located 50m to SW.
