The National Monuments Service's description
In rolling pasture, located on a low hillock, with excellent views in all directions.
Raised oval area (16m NNE–SSW; 11m WNW–ESE) defined by an irregular sod-covered scarp (H 1m at E, 1.2m at W) from which stones protrude in parts. Sections of the scarp at NE and SW are degraded.
The E half of the level interior there a sub-rectangular concentration (c. 6m N–S; 1.2m E–W) of stones protrudes from the sod, including at least six low stones that appear to be set upright. A single upright stone is also visible in the S of the interior. The stones do not form any clear structural pattern, and their significance is unclear.
A property wall on a WNW–ESE axis cuts across the S–SW edge of the enclosure. Hawthorn bushes grow around the perimeter. There is a small quarry pit (max. dim. c. 8m; D 0.4m) 14m to NW. A rath (MA073-009----) is located 170m to NE.
