The National Monuments Service's description
Located slightly NW of centre in the interior of a rath (MA072-066----).
The interior of the rath has been largely quarried out. A short length of drystone masonry (L c. 1m; H c. 0.6m), oriented E−W, is exposed in the N section face of the quarried area. At its W end it intersects with poorly preserved remnants of walling which extends for c. 3m to N. This structure may be the remains of a souterrain, which has been damaged by the quarrying.
