The National Monuments Service's description
In rath (MA072-061). There is a local tradition of a souterrain in the rath, but no details on its exact location or its form. No trace of the souterrain was found during an inspection in 1997. There are a number of shallow surface depressions in the E half of the rath interior, but no definitive evidence that these relate to a souterrain. It was not possible to examine the W half of the rath, which is obscured by impenetrable blackthorn.
