The National Monuments Service's description
In a rath (MA072-041001). There is a local tradition that the rath contains a souterrain (MA072-041001-) of drystone construction with lintel roofing. Access to it was blocked up in the past. Two large slabs, protruding obliquely from the sod, to W of centre, may indicate its location.
