The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on a rise.
An oval enclosure is shown on 1838 OS 6-inch map, incorporated at E–S into a field boundary, abutted by buildings at S, and bordered at SW and W by a laneway.
The remains consist of a roughly D-shaped raised area (max. dim. 25m N–S) clipped at N by an E−W field fence, defined NE–S by a curving earthen scarp (H 1.8m; Wth slope 5m) and bordered on the straight side at W by a field fence, outside which is a lane on a roughly NNE–SSW axis. It is known locally as 'the garden' and traditionally said to be the site of a 'fort'.
