The National Monuments Service's description
In a rath (MA071-171001-). This souterrain is named ‘Cave’ on the 1838 OS 6-inch map, where it is shown against the inner face of the rath bank at NW. A low rise/bank (Wth 3-4m; H 0.5m) encloses a semicircular area (max. dim. c. 5-6m) against the inner face of the rath bank in the NW quadrant. This may be the location of the souterrain. It is engulfed in overgrowth, difficult to examine, and no structural remains of a souterrain are visible.
