The National Monuments Service's description

In undulating pasture, located on a low rise, with good but not extensive views. The Trimoge River is 200m to SW. There is a disused railway track c. 60m to E.
A circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) is shown on the 1838 and 1931 OS 6-inch maps, abutted on its NW edge by a straight NE−SW field boundary/townland boundary.
It has been levelled. A low undulation preserves the outline of a roughly circular area (diam. c. 25m) with a slight scarp remaining on the SW arc. It is truncated on NW edge by a field fence. There is a raised area (diam. c. 9m) in the S half of the interior, with a telegraph pole standing on its NW edge.
