The National Monuments Service's description
At the narrow N end of a roughly triangular modern field of rough, wet pasture, located on a low rise, with good views.
A circular embanked enclosure (diam. c. 20m) is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map; it is not shown on later map editions. It has been levelled, but the outline of a roughly circular, slightly raised area (c. 25m E−W; c. 28m N−S) can still be traced. It is evident as an island of short green grass surrounded by rushes.
