The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on a low rise, with good but not extensive views.
This rath was levelled in the 1950's. The outline of the rath can still be traced as a slightly raised, roughly circular area (diam. c. 29m) defined by a slight scarp, outside which there are ephemeral traces of a fosse and outer bank. The fosse and outer bank are overlain at SSE–SSW by a farm road.
