The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, straddling a rise in undulating terrain. Trees and high field fences restricted views.
Roughly circular platform (36m N−S; 36.3m E−W) defined by an earthen scarp (H 1.8 at NNE, 1m at SSW; 1.2m W; 1.25m at E). The scarp is topped and faced with stones at ESE−SW as a result of incorporated into a field fence: at E−SE this takes the form of a substantial bank (Wth 3.6m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.25m) of loosely piled stones. There is a break (Wth 2m) in the scarp at S, but the original entrance may have been on the E side facing a spine of higher ground outside the enclosure.
The interior is level and grassy, with a heap (max. dim. 3m; H 0.8m) of field stones in the SE quadrant. The perimeter thickly ringed with hawthorn, blackthorn, hazel and ash trees.
