The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on a rise. There is a stream 150m to E.
Raised earthen platform (c. 33m NE−SW; c. 36m NW-SE), originally circular but now irregular in plan, defined by a high, vertically-cut scarp (1.8-2m). The N arc retains much of the original curve of the enclosure. A C-shaped area (diam. c. 10m) has been quarried out of the platform at E−SE; this is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. The S−SW arc of the circuit has also been damaged, and the W edge is truncated by a road flanked by field fences.
The rath interior is level and featureless; the perimeter is ringed with ash trees, hawthorn, blackthorn and brambles. A barn and a smaller shed stand immediately to NW of the rath; other farm buildings and a farm yard are ranged around the rath on the NE-SE side.
