The National Monuments Service's description

In the interior of a bivallate cashel (MA070-039001-). When inspected in 1983 (SMR file), a local tradition was recorded that the cashel contained two souterrains; one associated with a round house (MA070-039002-) abutting the inner face of the cashel wall at S and the other at the centre of the monument. Neither was visible on that inspection. When reinspected in 2025, the interior of the cashel was found to be totally overgrown and impenetrable in places.
