The National Monuments Service's description
At the E foot of a steep pasture ridge in wet rough grazing liable to flooding from Levallinree Lough c. 100m to the E. Reported as a possible fulacht fia (SMR file). A low irregular-shaped overgrown mound (dims. 15m N-S; 11m E-W; av. H 0.5m) whose composition is uncertain. The site lies between a field wall to the W, a spring-fed streamlet to the N and a wide drain to E. A second possible fulacht fia (MA070-021002-) lies 50m to the S.
