The National Monuments Service's description

In low-lying damp pasture on the lower W-facing slope of a ridge. Reported as a possible fulacht fia (SMR file). This is a low roughly circular grass-covered mound of burnt stone (diam. 9m; H 0.1m along E – 0.3m along N and S – 0.6m along W). A band of rushes (Wth 1m) running E-W across the site may be the remains of a later cultivation ridge. A second possible fulacht fia (MA070-018001-) lies c. 30m to the W and a rath (MA070-019 ----) overlooks the site from the ridge c. 90m to the NE.
