The National Monuments Service's description

In low-lying generally level fertile grazing overlooked by pasture on all sides. A small stream (Wth 3m) flows N 1m to the E, the source of which is recorded c. 110m to the S on the Cassini edition (1920) of the OS 6-inch map. Reported as a possible fulacht fia (SMR file). A slightly raised circular mound (av. H 0.3m; diam. 10m) which light probing suggests has a stony composition.
