The National Monuments Service's description
In generally level low-lying, damp, improved pasture. Reported as one of six possible fulachta fiadh (along with MA070-008001-, MA070-008002-, MA070-008003-, MA070-008005- and MA070-008006-) running in a more or less N-S line (L c. 200m) near the E bank of a small N-flowing stream (SMR file). It survives as a low partly stony subcircular mound (diams. 8m N–S; 7m E–W: H 0.1m). Its surface grows wild grass, yellow vetch and silverweed while rushes grow outside to the E.
