The National Monuments Service's description
Enclosing Kildavnet Castle, a 15th-century tower house (MA065-025001-). Fragmentary remains of a bawn wall can be seen 1.6m out from the walls of the tower house at the WNW and NNE sides. It is better preserved at the WNW side (max. H 1m: Wth. 0.8m), where there is a circular angle tower, from which there is a return to the W angle of the tower house.
This is a National Monument in State ownership (No. 458).
