The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, incorporating a rise in sharply undulating terrain. There are extensive views to N over lowlying bog and pasture, and rising ground to S.
Not shown on the 1838 and 1920 OS 6-inch maps. Listed in the SMR (1991) and RMP (1997) as an enclosure on the basis of a semicircular feature, curving SSE−N, visible in an aerial photograph (GSI G 133-4; Roll 231, pr. 16) (SMR file).
At ground level there is a roughly circular rise (c. 34m N−S; 34.5m E−W) defined NE−SSE by a pronounced scarp or slope and at S−NW by a scarp/slope incorporated into a curving drystone wall. The outline is poorly defined at NNW−NNE.
The wall (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.4m at S) on the SW arc is similar in general form to local field walls. It appears to have been c. 1m in original width. The external wall face is relatively intact but internal face has collapsed to a broad slump of loose stones, and is topped by heaps of loose field clearance stones, giving it a total width, including slump, of c. 3m. This broad slump of stones appears to have been pushed up here following levelling of nearby field walls. The remains may outline the W half of an originally circular enclosure, but this is very uncertain.
