The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on a low rise, within a field system (MA062-118001-).
A grass-covered, roughly circular mound (14m N-S; 11.5m E-W; H 0.85m at N, 1.1m at S) with a flattened, slightly concave top (diam. 4-5m). The nature of the mound -whether it is constructed primarily of earth or stone- is uncertain. It is markedly larger and more regular in appearance that field clearance cairns that dot the surrounding fields. An ephemeral linear feature traverses the mound on an E-W axis. Remnants of field boundaries clip the base of the mound at W and N and a grassed-over trackway (Wth 4-7m), flanked by a sod-covered stones, skirts the S side. An enclosure (MA062-0126----) is located c. 100m to SE, and a possible cashel (MA062-119----) c. 125m to SW.
