The National Monuments Service's description

In rough pasture, located on top of a hillock. This enclosure is indicated on the 1837 OS 6-inch map as a circular embanked enclosure (diam. 20-25m); it is not shown on later map editions. When the location was inspected in 1997, no visible trace of the enclosure was evident at ground level. In 2006 topsoil was scarped from the top of the hill during unauthorised off-road works associated with the construction of the N5 Charlestown Bypass. These works are likely to have damaged or destroyed sub-surface remains of the enclosure.
