The National Monuments Service's description

In flat expanse of lowlying pasture, located on a low rise. This possible rath is shown on the 1919 OS 6-inch map as an oval area (c. 35m NW−SE; c. 25m NE-SW) enclosed by an external fosse; a field boundary on a roughly N-S axis cuts across the W half. It has been levelled. The N-S field fence, which cuts across the interior, is extant. The oval outline is recorded as a cropmark in an aerial photograph (OS 2 8785 -6; Roll 216, pr. 5; SMR file), and is evident in current aerial imagery. There is a rath (MA062-038----) located 155m to NE.
