The National Monuments Service's description
In a rath (MA062-028). According to local information, at one time ‘an opening’ was visible in the exterior slope of the scarp on the N side of the rath. Immediately above this location, there is a semi-circular hollow or sunken area (6.8m E-W; 5.6m N-S; D 0.6m) in the interior. This may mark the location of a souterrain.
