The National Monuments Service's description

Located on the E shore line of Lough More. This fulacht fia was discovered in 1992 during a survey undertaken by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit of archaeological monuments in and around the lake. It has been largely eroded away by fluctuations in lake levels. When recorded in 1992, only a thin layer (L 7.5m; Wth 1m) of burnt stones remained (Jennings 1995, 199 (MA-BD0003)). Another fulacht fia (MA059-012----) is located on the lake shore c. 75m to NE.
