The National Monuments Service's description

Located on top of an E–W ridge, with an abrupt and steep fall of ground to S.
This enclosure, probably a rath, is indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a circular embanked enclosure, and on the 1929 edition as a walled enclosure. It has been levelled and a modern house, now derelict, occupies the N half of the interior.
The roughly circular outline (diam. c. 28m) can still be traced, defined at ENE–E by a curving undulation, at ESE–SW by a slight scarp merging with the natural slope, and at WSW–NNW by an ephemeral continuation of the curve, now incorporated into a N–S line of conifers. The N edge of the enclosure is clipped by an E–W trackway/road. The S half of the interior is grassy and featureless. Trees and ring the perimeter. A ruined shed abuts the NW edge of the enclosure.
