The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, in gently undulating terrain.
This enclosure is not shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map; it is indicated on the 1922 edition as a polygonal enclosure (diam. 25m E−W; c. 30m N−S), incorporated into a system of field boundaries.
It is evident now as a roughly circular area engulfed in an impenetrable thicket of blackthorn, hawthorn and brambles. Field boundaries radiate from it at NW, N, NE, E and S. At SE it is possible to trace an arc of low bank or scarp, with a field wall at the outer edge of the scarp slope, mirroring the curve of the scarp –this wall appears to curve around the NE arc too. This suggests the possibility that this is the remnants of an enclosure or rath, encircled by a ring of later field walls. Within the interior, 3m to N of the arc of scarp, there is a linear length of stone bank or wall (Wth 1m; H 0.3-0.6m) of uncertain significance, engulfed in grass and brambles. There is a rath (MA040-015----) c. 50m to NE.
