The National Monuments Service's description

In the SW corner of a pasture field, located on level ground at the base of the E-facing slope of a ridge. There is a lake, Lough Alick, 225m to W, the outflow stream of which is 100m to N.
A slightly raised area (26m E-W; 26.5m N-S), roughly square in plan with rounded corners, defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.7m, at NE). The bank is low and degraded, best preserved at NE. At S the bank is incorporated into a later field fence, which curves slightly. The interior is level and grass-covered. According to local tradition, this enclosure was used as a burial ground; no graves are visible. A disused trackway, leading to a ruined vernacular stone cottage at SW, skirts the W side of the enclosure.
