The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on a gentle S-facing slope, with very good views towards the NE shoreline of Lough Conn located 250m to W.
This rath is named ‘Rathnashuppy’ on the 1838 and 1930 OS 6-inch maps. It is shown on the 1838 edition as a circular embanked enclosure, but on the 1930 edition only the W half is shown. It is evident as a slightly raised circular area (33.2m N–S; c. 33m E–W) defined on the W half by a low earthen bank (Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.95m; ext. H 0.4m, at N), reduced to a scarp (ext. H 1-1.2m) in parts at S–W; the E half of the rath has been levelled to a barely discernible undulation. A N-S field fence cuts through the centre of the rath. The interior is grass-covered; hawthorn grows on the perimeter at W. There is a rath (MA039-062----) located 100m to E.
