The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on a ridge with a fall of ground to E. There are very good views N–SE, with the Ox Mountains form the skyline to E. Ground rises slightly to W.
The court tomb is depicted on the 1930 OS 6-inch map as an oblong area (c. 22m N–S; 11m E–W) outlined by a dashed line, and indicated as ‘Children’s Burial Ground’. It is evident as a low grassy mound studded with stones and boulders, with some forming a rough kerb around the perimeter. A N–S field fence skirts the W side of the megalith. According to local information, the court tomb was used as a burial ground for unbaptised infants (MA039-050002).
