The National Monuments Service's description
Located on top of a hill, with excellent views in all directions of the surrounding pastureland.
The roughly square graveyard (36.8m E-W; c. 36m N-S) is enclosed by a mortared stone wall (Wth 0.4m; H 1.2m), probably 18th/19th-century in date. In the second half of the 20th-century the N wall and the N end of the W wall were removed to allow a modern expansion of the graveyard to N. The line of the removed walls is still evident as a cropmark of thicker vegetation growth. There is a ruined medieval church (MA039-015001-) in the SW quadrant. The greatest density of graves is to S and E of the church where 18th- and 19th-century graveslabs and headstones are interspersed with numerous low uninscribed informal stone grave markers, many arranged in N-S rows.
